What could be more heavenly than this:
that on the feast of Christ’s Resurrection, His earthly vicar returns home to eternity?
Not everyone is religious, but we are all human.
Pope Francis reached even those who stood outside the Church. He was a man of gentleness, compassion, and quiet courage. His life bore witness to love and mercy. His voice sought peace, and his words built bridges.
Today symbolizes the continuation, spreading, and sharing of this miracle. The strengthening of faith.
Perhaps only one thing could be even more heavenly than this:
when the heart of the whole world opens at once to the reality of resurrection — or renewal — and humanity collectively recognizes the gift of love and eternal life.
