Don’t let the “what if…” steal your present moment!

“What if I had decided differently…”
“What if I hadn’t made that mistake…”
“What if I could get back what I lost…”

Do these thoughts sound familiar? We often replay past possibilities in our minds, trying to rewrite what has already happened. And without noticing, we step into a reality that does not exist — a world where “what if…” questions pull us into an endless spiral.

The past does not bind you — your thoughts do. Regret, sorrow, and “what if…” questions merely place a veil over the miracle of the present moment. Yet the present is the only place where your soul can truly unfold, where your creative power is limitless.

Let go of the past, just as a river keeps flowing forward without clinging to a single drop of water. The events of the past are complete. You cannot go back and change them, but you can choose not to let them define your present. Instead of asking what could have been different, ask yourself:
“What can I do now? How can I move forward?”

Because change always happens here and now.

But look at it from a deeper perspective. What if everything happened exactly as it needed to? What if the mistakes, losses, and hardships were not against you, but for you?

Every “what if” is a doorway into a world that does not exist — a dimension where the shadows of the past keep you captive. But when you bring your attention back to the present, you can see that every experience gave you something.

It may have been painful, but every event shaped you, taught you, and helped you become who you are today.

Every experience is necessary for the soul’s growth. Every pain. Every challenge. Each one is a lesson, a stepping stone toward fulfillment. When you understand this, you realize there is no point in asking “what if…”. Because everything was perfect exactly as it happened.

Instead of clinging to the past, try this:
Take a deep breath. Feel the present moment. Ask yourself: what is this moment telling me?

Life always moves forward — and your power exists in the now. Do not remain a prisoner of the past; become the creator of the present.

When you release the illusion of the past, you enter true presence — the state where the soul is at peace and where every possibility is open to you.

Now is the time. Now is life. Be in it with your whole heart.
