Sometimes a person turns so far away from themselves that they don’t even notice it anymore.
They no longer show what they would like to appear as, but what is raging inside them.
They shout at others because anger is boiling within.
They criticize because they are frustrated.
They curse the “rich” because they feel disappointed.
They hate successful, popular people because they are envious.
They see only the bad in everything because fear distorts their vision.
They constantly blame others because they are still living in the role of the victim.
They belittle anyone because deep down they feel insufficient.
And meanwhile, they expect kindness.
Respect.
Love.
Yet they demand all this while screaming like a pack of rabid dogs.
Hatred splashes out of them, while they long for an embrace.
Look around. Look at yourself.
The hatred you pour onto strangers lives inside you.
You carry it.
It is yours.
And what destroys within cannot build outside.
What you tear apart and ruin outwardly has already fallen to pieces inside you.
A person speaks what they believe.
And what they believe shapes their life.
Watch what leaves your mouth.
What have you written to others, about others?
Where did you go, human?
You are there. I see you.
When will you notice yourself?
How far have you drifted from your heart?
When will you find your way home?
